Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up we had a number of cats and dogs and there was always a spare neighbourhood hound willing to be taken for a walk. I developed the horse-riding bug at age 8 and as you can imagine have never looked back! I now own the bragging rights to the  most beautiful black thoroughbred Labo who has a different horse cover for everyday of the week!

I previously spent a number of years dairy farming in West Otago where I was hands-on with all aspects of animal handling, calving, milking and tractor work before moving to Cromwell for a lifestyle change. I have a very busy Jack Russell and Glitter the cat that pretends not to like the dog… but we all know that’s not true!
