From an early age I have always been surrounded by animals as I grew up on a dairy farm in Southland. I followed my passion for animals and completed a Certificate in Vet Nursing where I worked for 5 years in a number of Veterinary clinics in Dunedin.

My love of horses and adventure called so I decided to take the plunge boots and all and try my hand as a cowboy in Canada, what an awesome experience that was! I now live on a lifestyle block with my daughter, her pony and two cats. One of them is on my knee as I am writing this.
